organizations working in the region. College scholarships are awarded to deserving local graduates in need who aspire to
attend college. Ambassador scholarships are awarded to eligible Martis Camp employees and their children to

Messages of Thanks from Community Grant Recipients
![]() High Fives Foundation Category: Human Services “We restore hope and provide direct and immediate support to life-changing injury survivors as well as 100% free programs and resources, breaking down barriers and bridging the gap between an individual’s ambitions for recovery and achieving those goals in a timely manner. Thank you for supporting us.” — Roy Tuscany, Founder and CEO | ![]() La Fuerza Latina Category: Education “It takes much more than innate ability and ambition for local first-gen kids to go from sharing two-bedroom trailer homes with their large immigrant families to pursing their dreams on campuses like UCLA and USC; it takes leadership, generosity, and vision for community responsibility. Those traits are what Martis Camp has always been about and the La Fuerza scholars are deeply grateful for MCF’s shared belief that in our community, when the sun rises, it rises for everyone.” — Craig Rowe, Director |

Fundraising
In 2010, the Martis Camp Foundation (MCF) was created as a 501(c)3 public charity
to support the Truckee/North Tahoe community. Initially funded by Martis Camp developers
and annual Club events, the MCF is now funded and run by Members of Martis Camp.
The majority of the money we award as community grants and scholarships comes from our
Glamp at the Camp dinner and auction held annually during the summer. In 2021, this event
raised more than $730,000. This year’s event is Saturday, July 23rd at the Family Barn.
In addition to attending the auction (Members and their guests),
we have several ways to easily donate to the MCF:
Email the MCF at mcf@martiscamp.org
Write a check to the Martis Camp Foundation and mail to:

are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
